Configure the Linksys PAP2 VoIP Router to Work with Localphone

The Linksys PAP2 is a VoIP router which lets you use your traditional analogue telephone with Localphone’s VoIP services. This guide describes how to configure the device to work with your Localphone account.

  1. Connect and Log in to Your Linksys PAP2

    Follow the instructions that came with your Linksys PAP2 to connect and log in to the device’s configuration console.

  2. Enter Your Localphone Account Details

    Choose “Line 1” from the top navigation and on the new screen enter the following details to configure your Localphone account, leaving any other fields blank or as their default value:

    Proxy localphone.com
    Display name [Full Name]
    User ID [DID]
    Password [SIP Password]
    Auth ID [SIP ID]

  3. Check Your Configuration

    Now that you have added your Localphone account settings to the Linksys PAP2, the form should resemble the following:

    Use the “Save Settings” button to store the new Localphone configuration.
