Configure the Linksys SPA941 VoIP Phone

You can find you SIP registration details under the VoIP section of your Localphone Dashboard.

The Linksys SPA941 is a VoIP phone which lets you use your traditional analogue telephone with Localphone’s VoIP services. This guide describes how to configure the device to work with your Localphone account.

Connect and Log in to Your Linksys SPA941

Follow the instructions that came with your Linksys SPA941 to connect and log in to the device’s configuration console.

Enter Your Localphone Account Details

Choose “Line 1” from the top navigation and on the new screen enter the following details to configure your Localphone account, leaving any other fields blank or as their default value:

Setting: Value
Proxy: localphone.com
Display name: [Full Name]
User ID: [SIP ID]
Password: [SIP Password]
Auth ID: [SIP ID]
Use DNS SRV: Yes
DNS SRV Auto Prefix: Yes

Check Your Configuration

Now that you have added your Localphone account settings to the Linksys SPA941, the form should resemble the following:

Save Your Settings

Use the “Save Settings” button to store the new Localphone configuration.
