Call Waiting allows you to see a call coming in when you’re on another call, and answer it (placing the first call on hold), or leave the call to go to Voicemail. Call Waiting is another free Localphone feature, which works alongside Caller ID. When another call comes in, you will be able to see the caller’s name and number before deciding if you wish to take the call.
User Guide
Call Waiting is automatically enabled on your Localphone Account when you sign up for the service. When you are on a call and a second call comes in, you will hear a beep, and your Caller ID Display will show the name and number of the caller (please refer to your device’s instruction guide for exact instructions on how to answer / reject the second call). If answered, the first call will be placed on hold. If rejected, the first call will remain in progress, and the second caller will be sent to your Voicemail.
